CFMX-FM and CFMX-1 are licensed by the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission. CFMX-FM broadcasts on a frequency of 103.1 megahertz, with an effective radiated power of 82,800 watts. CFMX-1 rebroadcasts the CFMX-FM signal on a frequency of 96.3 megahertz, with effective radiated power of 19,100 watts. In accordance with the license granted CFMX-FM, a promise of performance outlining the programming heard on these stations has been filed with the Commission. Because radio frequencies are public property in Canada, any member of the public may inspect the broadcast license and the promise of performance, with its terms. These documents are available both at the offices of the CRTC and these stations, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. CFMX-FM and CFMX-1 are owned and operated by Different Drummer Communications, Inc. Our studios and offices are located in Cobourg and Toronto. CFMX-FM may make available to non-profit groups or individuals, a total of 15 minutes per week for community access programming. Programs must conform to the priniciples of good taste and production standards, and be submitted in produced form 14 days prior to broadcast. Requests should be mailed to the station manager, CFMX, in Cobourg or Toronto.
