This is WLVT-TV, Allentown, concluding another period of telecasting. WLVT is owned and operated by the Lehigh Valley Public Telecommunications Corporation, a non-profit community corporation. Our studios are located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on South Mountain Drive West, primarily serving the Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton area. Transmitter facilities over WLVT are located on East Rock Road in Allentown. WLVT operates with a visual power of 617,000 watts, and an aural power of 123,000 watts. Dedicated to serving the educational and cultural needs of the Lehigh Valley, WLVT is affiliated with the Public Broadcasting Service, the Eastern Educational Television Network, and the Pennsylvania Public Television Network, which receives its appropriation through funds provided by the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
